The other day the engine light came on.I had it checked out and it was code PO155(Front Primary HO2S Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 1)).Had the mechanic clear the code.I haven't gone around to buying a new sensor. But drove the car the other day and the light never came back on.So should I still change it.Or was it just a bad reading that turned the engine light on.

Well the light came back on so I will be replacing it.Strange thing is that this time when it came on so did the TCS lights.Tried pushing the TCS button but light would not come off. When I got home I turned the car off and when I re stared it the TCS light did not come on.

Any ideas.

Do not be concerned with the TCS indicator, replace the 02 sensor, and all will be well:).

I seen on science of speed they only sell the pair.Do I really need to change both.

At Dali racing they sell them separate but they are all listed at the same price for all 4.And I know they are all different price at the dealer.

I am confused !

I got a PO155 error -Front Primary HO2S Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 1)

From my searches, I need a pre-catalytic sensor....

a few questions:

should I just replace all 4 sensors .... would you?
are the pre-cat sensors different from the post-cat? the prices are sometimes way more expensive and sometimes not.
are bank 1 and bank 2 sensors the same? ie for all four sensor replacement, do I order two pre-cat and two post-cat sensors?

can somebody just tell me what to order and from where? for the best deal of course!

Thanks and I am sorry for being so dense,
Selwyn

I just replace the one that was giving me the code and no more problem. I bought them at an Acura dealer. I believe they are all different but I might be wrong

Well with the help of the forum and Larry B, I replaced my Bank 2 pre-catalytic oxygen sensor. I ordered one that had the correct wire length (but in the future, I will just order a generic and splice and save some money).

The job was very straight foward but required removing a metal shield (three bolts). I bought a o2 sensor wrench and a torque wrench for the job.

I cleared the PO155 code and started the NSX up and viola! no more code. It does seem to run a little rough, but hopefully this is my imagination.

Certainly, save the money and do it yourself. I cannot believe that the dealer would charge $800 ! ( as stated in another thread).
