When I start my NSX in the morning (94 5spd), after about 5 seconds, the rpms will drop and sometimes stall (sometimes, they get really low, then rev back up to where they are supposed to be). This happenes within a period of 5 seconds. There are no drivability issues. No check engine light either.

Also, the other day, when accelerating up to highway speeds, I would hear a relay activate and deactivate around 5500 rpm. I haven't heard the relay before.

Here are your search topics, click SEARCH between "New Posts" and "Quick Links"

1. idle air control
2. clean throttle body

The 5500 relay click is normal, you hear it because you are now tuning in to you vehicle.

3. vtec rpm

Your issues are common and have been solved many times over.
