Does anyone have an OEM factory radio head unit laying around leftover from a stereo change-out / upgrade that they're no longer needing?
I need to determine if the speaker amps (one or more) are blown / on their way out, ...OR... if the head unit capacitors are all that needs to be replaced.
The unit takes a few (5 to 10) minutes to "warm up" and start producing decent sound, but then still isn't a great sound system.
Yes, I know all about Darl at Willman's Electronics in Richardson, TX, but he hasn't been answering calls or returning e-mail for the last week...
If someone has a head unit I can borrow to plug in to test in my car, OR if you have a no-longer-needed OEM unit you're willing to part with / SELL (it must be in good working condition!)...call or e-mail me.
Thanks!
