OEM oil Filter for 98 NSX - Changed in Size???

I just bought an Acura oil filter from an Acura dealer for my 1998 targa. It is "shorter" than previous OEM filters I have bought. Same diameter of course. But just not as "long". Does this seem right? Other than the different length, I would have no reason to question it as OEM. Does anyone know if these dimensions have changed, or if two different lengths are authorized OEM? Thanks for any info or help.

yes it's shorter now...long is discontinued
