OEM Yoko Damaged

After going for a drive in a 91 NSX I found a one inch nail sticking out of the sidewall. I pulled out the nail and the tire leaked air so I put the nail back in the tire. The tire is holding air. Tires are not yet at the wear bars so it is a bummer. I have a new pair of OEM Yoko tires to put on but at this stage maybe they are better for show than driving. The old pair have no signs of aging as all the tires are kept out of the sun. There are easily 10k km left on the fronts so new rears and the car is good for 10k kms or about 5 years. Should I replace all 4 tires? Will the car handle as well with new Yoko Neovas or Toyo R1Rs?

First...replace the tire with the sidewall damage. Sidewall damage is not repairable.
Second, how old are you tires. If they are 8 years or older (in my experience) they are hardening up.
There are no signs of age, but they are aged. Ride will be harsher due to ageing. (you will feel the difference when you change you tires)

Agree with raw, check the age of your tires. It's printed on the sidewall. Here's how to do it:

Thanks guys. Five days later and the car is still siting there with a nail poking out of the sidewall. The nail is bent so it doesn't stick out very far. It went into the sidewall at a 22.5 degree angle, maybe even less. Funny how it doesn't lose air until I pull it out so I put it back. It was just bad luck but not a big loss.
