Well I decided to put one in.. not b/c I'm trying to pursue 5hp let alone .5hp...

I just noticed that whenever I take off the intake and stuff that there would be oil within the hose and also oil on the outskirts of the tb...

Being that I track my car like a maniac, I figured eh.. why not stop it?

So.. I put a catch can in. Here are a few pics... trying to find a place to mount something like this sucked greatly. If hindsight was 20/20 I think I'd look for something smaller. Although I guess if you like that shiny stuff in the engine bay this could add a little 'flare'...

And no I did not opt to use one of those stupid breathers. How do you think the valve cover gets the negative pressure to pull the fumes out?

Anywho.. here are a few pics.

Just curious, why only add one? Why not add one to the pcv also?

Henry.

I'm really only attempting to block the oil that returns itself into the intake. The usual application is generally for high compression engines (13.5 +) so that by blocking the oil into the throttle body you can help prevent detonation. While I'm not fearing detonation, I just wanted to stop the puddle of oil within the rubber bootie that leads to the tb.
