I recently brought my NSX to the dealer to fix an oil leak and they replaced the valve cover gasket & cam plugs ($600+) - yet I still have the same drip on my garage floor.
I brought it back & they told me it was an O-ring ($200). Is that something they should have caught before they changed the valve cover gasket & cam plugs so I didn't waste my $600!

not knowing anything about an nsx i can't really say.if i had took my cosworth in to a garage to have an oil leak done and they charged me £600 and it still leaked from the same place and then wanted £200 more to fix it i would have made such a fuss that they either fixed it for nothing or take them to court for not doing what you paid them for

or take them to court

I thought that alternative was only widely used on OUR side of the pond!

I'm having the same problem with the dealership here. They have had my car twice now and replaced the valve cover gaskets, cam plugs and vtec solenoid o-rings. STILL LEAKING. It looks like its coming from the Vtec solenoid still. I'm going to do they repair myself, because the dealership obviously has no clue whats going on.

I'm in the process of doing a similar repair myself (still trying to get my dealership to get me the parts).

Through some research and advice here on nsxprime and on nsxsc, I believe that it's the spool valves. Make sure, if you replace the rubber on these, that you get the Filter assemblies that go in the spool valve assemblies as well as the O-Ring between the valve and engine. In other words, dissassemble and replace the filter assembly in each spool valve after you remove them.
