Hey does anyone have an oil pan with a -8 or -10 an fitting welded if for a SC? Prefer it to be in the front facing side of the pan for my BBSC but if I can get a longer SS line I guess I might be open to other locations. I posted in the wanted but I never really check there so maybe someone with a pan doesn't either and can help me out if they see this. I'd take an aftermarket pan or one with baffles also if its not too much. Sorry for putting this in the wrong section but I really need something soon.

definitly a easy job. you can weld on an AN fitting or put a nut on the back end.... sometimes it leaks tho.

if you cant weld, take it a shop that does.

We've done these for customers as part of our baffled pan here:

As David said...Its handled.

Stmpo has a new, redesigned baffle to better fit the 91-07 oil pan...
Eliminating any chance of oil to travel towards the high spot of the pan...

The pics show where the baffle has been improved...

What the photo (of our baffle) does not show is the inverted lip placed on the bottom of the baffle. As shown here:

As important to preventing oil slosh away from the pick up is the drain-back of oil back to the pick up. There is a "gap" in this part of the baffle intentionally to allow oil to flow back to the pick up coming out of right hand corners as there is limited drain back area on this side of the pan (due to the head passing under the pan). The lip limits slosh away from the pick up during right hand turning g force. The formed hole size and this "gap" are selected to be able to move the volume of oil that the pickup demands to support maximum oil pump volume. Sealing up the chamber (as shown in your pan) I don't think is ideal - a sentiment echoed here in other threads and the small holes will be very limited due to the viscous flow of oil. Our baffle is race proven with 200+ in the field including use on three SCCA GT class cars.

Your application should be 1991-2005 (not 07).

thanks,

We have the baffle for the 06-07 as well, (alum)

We'll let the pics do the talking. We can place our baffle on a piece of carbon fiber if that helps.

Easy guys, competition is a great thing and leads to innovation... Let's keep it cool and not compare vendors products to each other when your in direct competition, it can lead to bad blood which is counter productive and not in anyones best interest.

Keep the products coming!!!
