Well before i throw anyone off. I personally DO NOT own a nsx at this moment. I am on the market for the right one, for the right deal. Now i will be upgrading / downgrading (difference of peoples opinions) from an s2000. I would like to keep the wheels i already have from my s2 for my future nsx.
Now assuming i will be picking up the eariler models 90's which is slightly different than 02+ i want to know if these size and offset would work.
I know double staggered is recommended however it is really hard to find another set of my wheels in nsx specified fitment.

I will be planing on lowering it a bit, NOT SLAMMED or anything just something more sporty.. but i do want a flusher look.. no need for hella flush..

my current wheels:
BBS LM
17x8 +45 Front 215/45/17
17x9 +42 Rear 255/40/17

if i were to reverse mount these wheels they would convert the offset estimated +30's front and rear.

if people have pictures to illustrate fitment for staggered 17" wheels on nsx that would be awesome.

imo they would fit . and who said a nsx is a downgrade from a ap2. lol i also came from a silverstone ap2

I had a Silverstone AP1 :D

The sizes look good if you don't mind the 17/17 combo. The only thing you have to change is your front tire to keep the traction control happy, go with 215/40R17.

I'd say sell the wheels and buy a more NSX specific set. There should be tons of S2k guys dying for these...

These aren't ideal on the NSX for a few reasons.
1) 17/18 wheels generally look better on the NSX. The only real exceptions I've seen are the OEM wheels.
2) BBS LMs look smaller for their size because of the step lip and the spokes don't extend to the edge of the lip. Because of these design features a 18/19 LMs set (or LM reps ) look better on the NSX, IMO.
3) 17x9 +42 rear is WAY too conservative especially with a 17x8 +45 front.
4) The only way way to make these look somewhat right on the NSX would be to reverse the REAR ONLY. This will keep the overall flushness front/rear the same, but you still run into the 17/17 problem.

Thanks for the response and advice.. I currently am considering of getting rid of these wheels in hopes to fund my future nsx purchase. Now my other dilemma is finding the right nsx :)

Are there any pictures of 17/17 bbs lm or lm style wheels on nsx?

Here's my car on 17/18 before the makeover. 18/19 is the way to go.

Your 17/17 setup would look funny imho on a NSX.

I would just keep an eye out for a used set of 17/18.

18/18 are very easy to find and look good too.

There are some nice replica options that look good.

Go find the NSX with BBS LM's picture thread for lot's of examples.

Good luck!

I would also like to know who has ever said that an NSX is a downgrade from an S2K.:confused::confused: While the S2K is a great car.... C'MONNNNNN MAN.

18/19 is definitely NOT the way to go on an NSX, if you care about handling and performance. The biggest problem with 18"/19" fitments is that there aren't any options for really good tires in 18"/19" sizes that would fit the NSX. Stick with 17"/18" for the biggest selection of great tires that will maximize the performance of your NSX. (There's also a pretty good tire selection in 17"/17" but they tend to look unbalanced on an NSX, due to the difference in sidewall heights needed to make the TCS happy.)
