So I installed my ctsc and want to monitor the AFR and boost (for belt slippage), however I see many people with just one AFR gauge. Wouldn't you need a gauge for each bank? Or are people typically only monitoring 1 bank, and is that safe? What if a problem occurs on the other side (clogged injector for example) you are technically only monitoring half of your motor... I want a clean look and am going with the two gauge trim piece that replaces the ash tray and the debate with me is do I do two AFR gauges or boost/AFR (single bank)? I did see the SPA gauge that can have dual AFRs in one gauge but I don't want to mix n match different gauges for aesthetic purposes.

sounds like you're going with what many of us have gone like in my thread here:

I only monitor one bank which is more than good enough to see if your fuel pump is going out. Yes, monitor 2 would be ideal but I dont want more than 3 gauges in my car. I have boost and AFR in my ash tray. Maybe when I get NAVpod I will reconfigure and go with dual AFR gauges.

What you may want to think about is a data logger that can display any input on the gauge. Viewing data on the gauge is very difficult under WOT conditions and during track use so logging the data for review after a hard run gives you a much better chance of finding any issues and having the data to give to your tuner so he can fix the issue. You can log AFRs on both banks, RPM, TPS, Boost, Fuel Pressure, IAT, EGT, and any other sensor you want to add to the car. After a run download the data and send to your tuner for review. You will have gauges for your viewing while driving but without the data for all the other inputs you will have to be the logger and remember everything when an issues arives.

I have used Zeitronixs for years and love there stuff, but there are many to choose from.

Zeitronix is awesome and I almost bought that but if you need an economical solution, the new AEM failsafe does AFR, boost, and is a complete dataloger in a $250 package. I have two for two banks, the OLED display shows AFR on left and AFR on right and the LED dials show boost (you can switch). I went overboard I think one failsafe is plenty. Watch the video. This thing has received lots of awards and terrific reviews:
