Returning to Santa Clarita, CA
I went for a solo video shoot for an upcoming NSX video - "NSX Gone Wild". The location for my car was in Palos Verdes. They also took some still shots. Here is one I took.

After my car got out of Downforce.. I went on a photoshoot in PV. Was parked overlooking the west side cliffs, and a cop pulled up to me. He was going to give me a ticket for no front plates =[ First time I've ever gotten pulled over for no front plates (well, I wasn't really pulled over)... but he let me go! PV police are so nice =]

Where's the rest of the pics?!!? Looking great!

Wish I knew you were going to be in my neighborhood...I would have come out to watch the shoot (or get mine in there too) ;)

Where in PV were those shots taken? Nice pics, but can't really see PV in there! :D

Suppose to have great Sunday Brunch there.

Was at the Trump Golf course (with the NSX) this weekend - Amazing views!

Location is a block west of where Marine Land used to be.

Is that street near the Terranea construction site?

Back when the golf course was called Ocean Trails, a bunch of us on the forum got invited to put our NSXs on display by Acura when they sponsored the PV Concours d'Elegance. Unfortunately, our NSXs were not on the grass. We were invited three years in a row.

Trump kicked our event off of the course. Acura stopped sponsoring the event. And the event has since returned to Trump National.

This would have been a nice spot to park an NSX:

Trump also wanted to change the name of the road leading into the clubhouse to 'Trump Lane' or something similar. If he knew the city and elected officials, he wouldn't have bothered to ask. Trump is good at marketing himself, but he has terrible taste.

Next time try Via la Cuesta, near the PV Country Club. Coastline views to Malibu and a 180 degree city view, from downtown to Long Beach.

I took a few pics the last time I was up there in Palos Verdes. I only saw one NSX passed by. It was a silverstone silver 02+ model.

Suggestion...Is it possible to do a NSX meet one weekend and do a photoshoot since everyone like the view and have a great time...just for a change...looks like fun to meet and greet everyone...

I think so. The street is on Calle Entradero, acrossing Palos Verdes dr. There is a lookout point on that stretch of road where you can park about 15 cars and have a meet/take pictures.

Sure, you guys set it up, I'll make it. If we got time, I'll shoot a quick cruise video too.

We'll be busy next weekend (8-2/3), but anything after that should be good.

Let me know what you guys plan to do if you're in the neighborhood. I usually lose a full day each weekend because I'm marathon training. I'm running a 10K on the morning of 08/09, but that shouldn't significantly eat into the day.

Incidentally, if those photos were taken last Sunday or the Saturday from the week before, I was out running near where you took them (the orange line is GPS data from my running watch...laps indicate mile marks):

I suspect you were out there later in the day though...the marine layer had not yet broken when I passed by Terranea on both runs:

We were on the exact location you were running, from about 6AM to 9:30AM:smile: We did see a red NSX close to 6AM, maybe one of the members here...

Last Sunday, I would have been around there sometime between 8:00AM and 9:00AM. Didn't see any NSXs during my run.

The previous Saturday, I would have been by there after 9:30am. I saw a black NSX twice on Silver Spur (which I mentioned in another thread).

HOLY SHIT Akira3d... thats some massive running.. i'm jealous theres no way I could do that... seriously. Man. I thought I could run damn well myself, but after seeing that, thru the hills... wow! nice man, win that marathon!
