I have a JDM 5-speed that I'd like to change to the NSX-R gear ratios. I know for the final drive these are the parts I need:

NSX-R 5-spd 4.23 - ring gear 41233-PR8-J00
NSX-R 5-spd 4.23 - counter shaft 23220-PR8-J00
NSX-R 5-spd 4.23 - oil gear 21173-PR8-J00

Can anyone tell me what are the part numbers if I also want to change the 2nd-4th gears? And any other o-rings, seals, bearings etc I may need for the job? My car has about 50,000 miles but while I'm there...

Here's what I have together with a clutch job and NSX-R LSD upgrade:

I'm going to defer the parts list to better resources than myself @MotorMouth93 or @Honcho might have the complete list. I know that a couple of websites had the complete list up at one time, and I'm sure some deep diving here on the forum will probably yield the same

A set sold last June and has a parts list in the ad:
https://www.nsxprime.com/threads/sold-jdm-short-gears-nsx-r-4-23-final-drive-lsd-kit.221199/

If you're gonna go ahead and replace the clutch (I just did this) I would probably also through in new flywheel bolts, a new slave cylinder, a new slave hose just as some "while you're there" add ons

Thanks for the info guys. However, both of them seem to list parts for the JDM NSX gears with NSX-R final drive. What about if I want the shorter NSX-R 2nd-4th gears?

I assume I should replace all of these while I'm there? My car only has 50K miles. Then again I would probably need another clutch before the bearings wear out so should I skip the bearings?

If you’re opening the trans case for brand new gears just replace them now and you’ll likely never need to open the case again barring some kind of issue.
Ah I see. I’d like to install the NSX-R final drive and LSD so will replace the bearings while I’m at it then.

You have a RHD Japan model. Your car already came with the shorter gear ratios. You only will need the following:
-Mainshaft (Backordered at this time with no ETA).
-Countershaft
-Final Drive
-Oil pump gear

Every other gear or related, is already included in your RHD.

I see, thank you for the info!

The list I have is:

23220-PR8-J00 1 NSX-R countershaft
41233-PR8-J00 1 NSX-R final drive
21173-PR8-J00 1 NSX-R oil pump gear

Isn't the mainshaft (23210-PR8-020) same between regular JDM and NSX-R?

Yes, you're right. I was confusing myself with the Type S/02R mainshaft.

Mainshaft is the same for standard NSX and 92R.
