I have checked the fuse and all marker lamps around the car on all corners work EXCEPT for the passenger corner. I don't see any loose wires however the front bumper was removed and worked on recently. As well, i recently took the passenger door cover off to do some work on the panel. Could i have not connected something inside the door that leads to the wiring for the passenger marker lamps? I have replaced the side orange marker lamp bulb just to be sure it wasn't a bulb issue. So I am at a loss except to assume that perhaps the guy reinstalling the front bumper cover neglected to re-connect something. Any ideas on what else to look at before the bumper is considered the culprit and removed?

I wouldn't take off the bumper just yet. Take out the bulb from the other other side just to make sure. Or put your new and old bulb in the driver side side lamp.

The orange side lamp fuse is hooked up the the interior fuse (right above the clock 7.5amp fuse). But since your other side is lit, I doubt it that would be your problem.

Time to pull out a voltmeter and check the bulb connector.

The orange side lamp and marker lights seem to be connected to a 15amp fuse located under the hood. When I pull that fuse all marker lamps and orange side lights go out so I think its not a fuse problem. I will try the voltmeter solution and see whats going on. Larry B replied to a previous thread about marker lamp connections inside the door panel, so i'm not sure if my '91 is wired the same way.

it did turn out to be the bulbs after all. i guess the one i tried in it which i thought was new was actually defective, after trying a second "new" bulb it worked out fine. odd as it was having two bulbs burn out at once but whatever.
thanks for offering the tip!!
