Okay so i have used the search function and i guess my key words weren't right or something because i am having a very hard time finding interior photos of ivory and black interior combos.

Specifically i am looking for cars that were once Ivory and have integrated more black into the interior.

I found a few examples of seats and floor mats but i was thinking that surely someone has switched from Ivory carpet to black?

I'm gearing up for a complete interior redo and the ivory carpet looks horribly filthy and since there is already so much black in the car i thought it might look cool to redo some of the more problematic ivory spots in the car in black like the; carpet, speaker grills, seat bolsters and that little leather piece that you have to climb over to get into the car. Ideas and input are appreciated.

Thanks in advance guys.

Hummm. No black/ivory but consider red/black?

Did this during Leatherseats.com group buy.

While I was at it I replaced the door sill covers and replaced the black door inserts with ivory to give the door panel some pop. I'm rather happy with the results!

I left the ivory carpet, cleaned the h$ll out of them when I had the seats out, and installed Weathertech black floor mats.

I was thinking exactly something along those lines. I wonder how black carpet would look though?

I have also thought about staggering back and ivory leather on the door inserts . I would like to do something different with the door sills too, mine are filthy and since i have to climb over it every time i am getting in or out of the car then maybe a darker color would work better there as well.

Anyone else have any pictures like these?

When you say door sills, I assume you don't mean the leather covers (right?), but the plastic pieces that go along the carpet from the dash back to the release for the gas filler?

If that's the piece you're talking about, mine were very dirty and gouged with scratches from getting in and out. I removed them and sanded them, starting with 100 grit paper, then 150, 200, and finally finishing with 400. I sanded off all the gouges and embedded dirt, and when I got done, they looked like brand-new pieces. It's a very easy and rewarding fix.

If you do indeed mean the leather-covered sill covers aft of the gas filler, that's really easy to re-cover with Ivory leather. No need to go black if you can recover with fresh Ivory. I replaced mine with Ivory and as long as I clean it as soon as it's dirty and don't let any dirt settle in, it comes out pristine.
