Pics of my new Work VS-XXs with radical Burning Black Finish!

Fresh off the boat are my new Work Wheels. These are the VS-XX’s with Work’s custom Burning Black painted centers. Hella sexy looks, but be careful; they can quickly start to play with your mind. Serious, one minute they look black, then silver, and the next gold! It almost seems as if your eyes will not let you focus in at close range due to the various dimensions and contrasts of colors. Not sure what the hell it is or maybe it’s me with the loose screw, but I find the wheels drastically changing color in the slightest of light alterations. Here are the details if anyone cares.

Manufacture & Model: Work VS-XX’s
Style: 3 Piece Forged mesh type Wheel
Finish: Polished lip with custom Burning Black painted center
Bolt Pattern: 5X114.3
Offset and Size:
- Front: 18x8 & ET44
- Rear: 19x10.5 & ET40

Cheers to Chris Wilson @ SOS for the recommendation and having the wheels built and to my door in a reasonable time. Now, I just need to get rubber for these bad boys and find time to complete all the suspension mods. Send me a PM if you want to see pics once they are on my Black Hardtop (should be by the middle of next week).

Late,
Danny

you like IKEA too? we have the same phone also, lol...

wheels are sweet, lets see pics when they're mounted eh?

Damn! Those wheels look nice especially in that type of finish. How long has this finish been available? Please post pics of the wheels on the car soon.

Beautiful!!

hi Danny -- Wheels look great! We did the rear wheels in a special out-of-catalog width and offset to maximize the lip. The finish on the discs is crazy - in one light they look dark, and in another light. They have quite a bit of depth that reminds me of the BMW Ghost Chrome look.

Cheers,
-- Chris

O.K. so now I'm in love. Chris, can I get these in ANY size with ANY offset? I have some pretty extreme dimensions going up under my fender well.

Man, those are the wheels I was thinking of gettin but in black. That color looks great by the way. Can't wait to see how they look like on your car. Nice choice.

My wheels are in black! I know, it's funny how they change color with the light.

Danny,

Sick, my friend, sick. Work's Burning Black finish looks awesome on those VS-XX's. I've always liked the look of a 3 piece mesh rim (like the classic BBS LM, Work Rezax, or HRE 540), and this finish just kicks it up another notch. I can just imagine how nice the wheels will look at this angle (below) on your black/black:

I'll come by and check them out later. Let me know if you need help getting those suckers mounted.

Mike

hurry up and put them on your car already! haha. jk. But seriously I want to see how these wheels look like on our black NSX's.

Niiice. those rims looke really sweet!

Cant wait to see pics of them on your car

Where are the pictures... I'm dying to see them on your car.

Your wheels look great and the finish is similar to my Work Termist TM-1s in "Silver". They look silver at certain angles and black at others. I love them. Got mine in 19x10 (+30) and 18x8 (+35). Congrats, lets see them on the car!

Love the finish on the wheels. I put the same wheels on my 2004 Rio Yellow NSX. I mounted Yokohama AVS sports on my wheels. You should try them, they have an agressive tread pattern and handle nice too.

The Work Wheels pictured above are for sale. Still brand new in the box and never mounted. Contact me @ 714-917-7999 or [email protected] if interested. I just realized I have too much CC debt and I have to reason with myself. Thanks,

Danny

I will leave the cover on becasue It hurts your eyes to see the car with wheels but without the suspension dropped at least 2''. At the factory ride height, it just looks blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh......

If I didn't purchased my rims already, then I would have bought it from you.

The car looks like a beef up 4x4 muscle car underneath the cover. You might as well uncover her so we can see. I can't believe your rim is BLACK!

The background in the picture looks creepy...reminds me of some scary movie in a wooden warehouse. :)

lifting up that cover is like lifting up a skirt to show the color of a panty. It's a good thing it's a piece of aluminum instead of a human being

what size tires did you get? looks wide...285?

once you put on the proper makeup, can you take a pic of the car w/ the rims being black? Man...it looks silver/polish to me. I want to see how sexy it is to have a black mesh on a black car. I haven't seen one yet.

Okay, here are the pics...........

Please note the following:

•This is the second set of VS-XX's in the US for the NSX in Burning Black. The setup is for sale
•The car was just lowered from the stands, suspension has not settled
•Car is caked in compound as it's in the process of being machined buffed
•The setup looks much better in person
•18x8 on 225/35/18
•19x10.5 on 285/30/19

•Have not yet installed centercaps

Out,

nice....

are you using 2 different sets of tires?

Yep, got a good deal on the rears brand new but failed to ever find a matching set for the front.

Front: Yok Pradas
Rear: Dun SP8000s

The pictures above look hideous to me, the car needs the suspension ( I am dropping her 2""), the OEM 02 updated rear valance and side skirts installed, big brakes, and completion of the detailing...............Then, it will look as good as say, my brothers car below!!
