I'm looking for an all-in-one unit that would play dvd's, cd's, iPod control, and navi. I'm really considering the Pioneer Avic Z2 or Z3. Any opinions?

nevermind. Did somemore research and I'll be going for the Kenwood DNX8120. Thanks prime.

i have both in two diff NSxes....

Both sound great....

I have had the Pioneer replaced and repaired three times....DVD stuck....

I have not had an issued with the Kenwood....

I have read several forums complaining about the Pioneer....I think some peeople have gotten rich from fixing them....maybe the latest one with all the modules is better......Kenwood lil cheaper, more features

Why did you change from the Pioneer to the Kenwood DNX8120? Thanks,

No, I currently do not have a double din. I went shopping at my local neighborhood audio store and tested out both of them. Visual clarity and quality are about the same. Kenwood is very user friendly. Kenwood also uses Garmin GPS (satillite). While the pioneer involved tapping into one of the lines for mileage (more labor). So instead I am going with the kenwood.

I don't know why some people think that Pioneer is better than Kenwood when it's not. Pioneers get sent in for repair more often and their customer service stinks. Alpine makes great units too but Kenwood does double DIN better than anyone. It comes down to quality, GUI, and features and Kenwood is better on all 3 of these fronts. However, Pioneer's new units will come with a decent GUI now and also feature Parrot bluetooth. Guess who they are following? Good choice on the Kenwood. If you are budget conscious, those deals on the Pioneer AVICs are very attractive.

They'll feature more than that. I don't think it will be any comparison once the new units come out.
