Lud,

i'm directing this to you because if i'm not mistaken, you are the only mod to the buyers experience sub-forum.

as you know, today you approved a post i did almost a month ago.

the thing is, and it has nothing to do with the post i did, if a buyer/seller post a very bad experience and while the post is retained for approval another very bad experience happens with the same seller/buyer causing it, don't you think that a low approval time would help minimizing the chances of something like this happening??

don't understand this as some kind of pressure or bad critics... i'm just trying to help and understand the issue.

thanks,
Nuno

If it is a very bad experience it is typically posted as a new thread which I would see sooner.

The problem with approvals on old threads is there are probably 20 worthless "chatter" posts for everyone one that gets approved. It is difficult to sort through them all and find the ones to actually approve on older threads, so sometimes it takes a while. I really wish people would pay attention to which forum they are posting in because I believe most people know better, but they just hit the "new posts" search and reply to anything they feel like commenting on without paying attention to where it is.

A slightly-connected issue: The default "From the ..." field on the forum is "From the (past month)". If, by chance, you do take extra time to approve a post, because you miss it or you're on vacation or whatever, it's quite possible for someone's post to fall off of the bottom of the list for the majority of potential viewers. Is there any way to make the default for that forum 90 days or more?

Good suggestion. Given the low volume of new threads in that forum, I changed it to a year.
