Has anyone on the list here tried power coating their calipers? I'm planning on having mine done at a motorsport specialist here in Indy and they told me that the rupper parts in the caliper might not survive the 350-400 degrees that the calipers must go through. I'll go ahead and get all of the rebuild parts for the calipers, but was wondering if anyone had gone this route and how easy/difficult is it to bleed the brake system after the calipers have been completely removed and replaced. I'll probably do stainless braided lines also. Any suggestions or comments?

I also considered this option but opt to go the cheaper route and paint them instead. After a few track events (even lost braking power due to overheating the fluid ) I have no regrets with the paint job - it’s still holding strong with no signs of blistering or delaminating.

I also considered powder coating. But having the car on blocks for the 2 weeks to have them done was not gonna happen. Plus the cost was a consideration.

Get the Dali caliper paint kit and you'll be satisfied. It only takes a day or so, its easy, and looks great.

I was told by Brembo that they do not recommend powder coating. They feel that the seals will be damaged by the heat.
