Hey all,

I will be receiving a kit in the next few weeks (fingers crossed) and want to do whats right to get my stock 92 ready for it.

Whats going in with the kit:
Gruppe M s/c (duh)
RC 550 cc injectors
Walbro 255 lph fuel pump
aem ems

My engine bay is bone stock at 89,000 kms (~53,000 miles)
I plan to do the usual servicing:
-timing belt and tensioners
-water pump

My stock clutch is still very good but should I change it since everything will be out?

What else should I do?

Any help from the GM vets out there will be appreciated.

One more Q, has anyone considered using nitrous to cool the intake charge vs the complicated water cooling system offered by Dali?

Thanks
John

LOL,I just need to get this crank pulley off John !!!
A few years ago I went for a ride in one guys Gruppe M car and he was really happy with the stock clutch.I would just hang tight on the stock clutch until you hve a problem at which point buy an aftermarket one with a bit more clamping force.
As far as the nitrous part,Are you trying to say you want to buy that too !!!
It's already tuned into the AEM,so you will have a really good base map for all of it.SAY THE WORD,Bro and I will make you a deal on that too !!

Feel free to take people's advice who have more experience/actually own this specific system, but I'd replace the clutch unless you plane on flat-out babying the car. The NSX stock clutch 'seems' to last longer than most n/a cars when faced against an FI system but I think that has more to do with driving style than the actual durability of the stock clutch.

You'll pay for the clutch with the labor you saved because you WILL have to take the drive train out for the clutch change before the next TB job in 99% of circumstances, know what I mean?

LOL tempting but I already have a 75 shot Zex system sitting in my garage. I was planning on using it for the daily driver as a toy but now I'm thinking it might be better used in cooling the GruppeM. I think you said you're using it to boost your s/c right? I don't think my engine can take that much boost compared to your "built" engine. I would like to use it mainly to cool the charge, not injected directly into the engine for more oomph.
