Prime NSX of the Month?

Just wondering why there isn't a NSX of the month type of thing going? I'd like to suggest a competition for the best looking NSX but most importantly the picture that was taken of the car. Get all the submissions in by a certain time in the month. Make a cut off, vote on it for a week or so and announce the winner. At the end of the year have all cars that won a month compete for a Prime NSX of the year. I havent been around here that long but I have been reading the forum for over a year and never seen something like this. Maybe have a archived section with all the past winners in it and a spot on the site for the annual award winning?

I did see the gallery but not something where everyone votes on the cars, etc. Just a thought

Yea some of the pictures I have seen on here are some of the best I seen on any of my car forums.

Probably because it just adds more work to the mods and the work load seems heavy enough. Then you add in the bias of whoever mod manages it and then add in the bitching and whining of everyone else because of this or that detail, etc.

i know there are a few 'unofficial' nsx calender threads, which could be considered a 'best of the best' pictures for a specific month.

at least there used to be a few ongoing threads like that...

Mods would have nothing to do with the voting besides adding their ONE vote.

You can make it as simple as a sub-forum on here for nothing but submissions/voting and one for the actual winners/archives. Super simple to do. You can add a current non-moderator for the section that has time on their hands and wouldnt mind doing it. Pretty much setting the deadline/making a poll topic then locking it once voting is complete. Move the winner to the winners forum and bam done. :smile:
