We will introduce some new carbonfiber products in august.

-NSX-R NA 1 1991+ hood spec 1.1 and spec 1.2 (NA2 NSX-R hood screen will fit)

-NSX rear windshield garnish (RWG) with 2 webs and black mesh, new ultralight edition in exposed cf (10 units) (1.200 USD)

-NSX-R diffusor for OEM rear valence NA2 2002+ in exposed cf

OK, admittedly I do not know zip re carbonfiber, but is that $2,500 for a spoiler? If so, I can guarantee I will never have one on my car.

I have a Procar spoiler without LEDs which was a bit cheaper and although you may call me crazy I don't regret it. (Imagine that you can also buy an original R spoiler for 7,000 US$

We got the prototype of the new Procar RWG (rear windshield garnish)
The material is exposed polished carbonfiber.
The superlight RWG comes with 2 webs and black anodized mesh.

From waht I have seen of the parts in picures, they're quite impressive parts from a composites finishing stand point.

Speaking on very basic terms, the cost of the part has to do with the amortization of the tooling (not cheap depending on type), the labor involved, the process, the material (price of carbon have been steadily rising) and the fact that their production rate cannot be all that high given the finish level of the product they are putting out: Almost no resin rich spots even in sharp radii, weave is nearly intact, etc, etc. Things that seem so simple are actaully quite difficult once you try to fabricate a part.

Personally, I'm saving my pennies for their parts because I know the process involved and to me, they're worth it. To each their own....

Well said, and your observations will be acknowledged when you hold your first part physicaly in your hand, trust me as one of the few privileged persons that inspected the Procar Specials NSX with it's CF parts in real.

Damn that stuff is nice, but awfully expensive. HHMMM... all carbon fiber stuff or supercharger? Very nice stuff serioulsy.

You will be happy with the carbonfiber parts as long you are happy with your NSX.

Not sure its the same with the supercharger. :biggrin:
