Not looking for a massive Viking type layout, but rather something smaller for a balcony. If anyone is pleased w/ theirs, please let me know.........

It's expensive, but picked up a Weber Summit 620 last year and I couldn't be happier. This thing totally rocks, and gets really nice and hot for your steaks. They also make smaller versions that might be better suited for a balcony.

In the past I've always steered away from Weber because they seemed overpriced relative to everything else, but I always ended up getting rid of the cheaper ones after a couple of years because of deteriorating performance, parts rusting, etc. so not sure how much I really saved by not going for a Weber in the first place.

Weber. It makes me do this every time.

we have a webber summit gold that is 5 years old and works very well,it has a good design and is easy to clean.

+1 one Weber - their support is awesome - however I strongly recommend getting a BBQ that uses some sort of simulated briquette or lava rock material. My weber has metal "flavor bars" and they get sooty if you don't clean them regularly.

I have a weber spirit.

Best grill i've ever purchased.

I'll be sure to tell the owner of the picture that I pilfered it off of the internets that you said that.:biggrin:

Thanks. Also tell her I think her dog is ugly, and Killer Instinct was a mediocre game at best, and not fit for retro gaming. If your gonna rock an SNES, you gotta stick to the classics, like Zelda a link to the past, Super Mario World, or Street Fighter 2. Also, tell her to clean up that rats nest before she burns her apartment complex down..

You forgot to bag on her "Livestrong" bracelet and that she's wearing her watch on the wrong wrist.

You're right. Damn. I assumed she was a lefty, but hey, tell her that being a lefty is wrong as well.

I've been told by people in the business that there are two types of grills...Weber and not Weber. Enough said. :)

let me tell you what weber did , for the last 27 yrs i had Ducane grills,1st lasted 14 yrs ,2nd lasted 13 yrs , went to buy a new ducane , they are garbage now, Weber bought them , sent production to china , wanted the ducane name that had a 75% return customer base , typical american business ,if you can build better, buy the competition and destroy it ,

Bought the Weber Genesis about 5 years ago (hooked up to natural gas) and it has been awesome. Recently added the Big Green Egg for the slow cook charcoal ribs etc - love them both. Jay

Weber Gold 16 years old now. Natural Gas. I remember when I bought it, I asked how much a replacement burner was. I was told I would never need to replace it.

They aren't built as beefy today as this old one, but they still are the one to buy.

We use this thing all year long. It sits outside all the time, only a cover to protect it. I live in a very harsh climate. It still lights with the first push of the starter and I still have the same burner.

Had an old Sheppard BBQ for over 20 years...About every 5 did a full "makeover"...new burner, sanded and repaint, etc...but a very nice BBQ - replaced it with a Weber Genesis and totally love it - yes more expensive thant he Walmart specials, but you will enjoy it.

I work at a John Deere dealership and we used to use Broil King as the John Deere rebrand....we have since switched over to Weber...as the John Deere BBQ...

Another vote for Weber. I have a Summit and a Genesis. My Genesis is about 15 year old and I replaced the flavorizer bars, good as new.

I have a weber spirit.

Best grill i've ever purchased.

Weber spirit 320 here. BEST money ever spend hands down on a grill. I would always try and buy the >$200 cheapo model (not weber). I have owned about four of those in my life. I never knew how nice and even a good BBQ could cook until I bought the weber.

I'll go against many here- I have a Weber Spirit 210, and it's worse than the $90 Charbroil I used to have. I was looking for a small grill (everything is so huge), and it was the only one I could find in stores with my requirements. Reasons for dislike: inconsistent heating across grill area, max temperature ever seen is ~400 (even on full, but this is the top mounted thermometer, winter time is often hard to get above 300), porcelain grill surface started chipping after 2 years (used a soft brass brush to clean), and subject to flames blowing out by even moderate winds. I added some lava rock, which has greatly helped the uneven heating and wind issue, but I still have definite hot spots on the grill.

I would recommend getting a grill with 3+ burners- I think that would probably fix most of these problems.
