Proximity Start Feature (without key)

I know there are a lot of electronic junkies here in our community. I, myself have been out of the game for long enough to not be current on car tech.

Does anyone know of a manufacturer that makes an aftermarket proximity key fob that allows you to start the car with a start button (S2000 style) and not actual key? I've always contemplated doing the start button mod but the only way I would do it if it was a complete system....

Any input would be appreciated.

The technology is in its infancy right now, I know there are a lot of hacking implications.

This product can be adapted for your purpose I believe.

Hi, I was looking into something similar, I wanted some sort of bluetooth base security system, but only found RFID based, try this:
