I've read a bunch of posts but am still a bit confused on connecting an XM radio into factory head unit using the Blitz.
I have 91 and installed the Shark II antenna so don't need the SMartenna any longer and have the OEM CD changer in rear.
It sounded like I could install the Blitz up front and not have to run wires from trunk. It also seems as if there are plug incompatiblity issues with the pin configuration at the head unit and the Blitz connector? What do I have to remove (console and headunit?) upfront to tap into the DIN connector? What can I do about the plug mismatch issue? Is there a wiring diagram for the upfront install ( seems as the old links no longer work).
I also see reference for needing one or two ACUALP adapters. Not sure what an ACUALP is or if I require? It seems like this is only for replacing the OEM CD with Alpine unit.
Lot's of questions. Sorry for my confusion. I want to get this right before tearing apart the console.
