Hi there,

can anyone tell me.......

Is an OE 02+ rear valence a seperate piece from the rear bumper or is it all one? If seperate will it fit straight onto an pop-up light car with no mods (mine is a 96)

To use the 02+ OE 17" wheels, do you need to use the 2002+ discs/rotors and calipers front and rear to make the wheels fit without spacers?

Lastly, will 02+ OE side skirts bolt straight on as well.

Pending sale so a quick answer would be greatly appreciated...

Rear valance is seperate from the rear bumper. Its 2 piece like the front bumper.

Wheels, you need spacers.

OE sideskirts will fit but the door panels will be weird. You'll need to drill holes in your door for the tabs (or so I hear)... easier and cheaper just to do with the Downforce version.

My dealer put on all the 02 oem updates on my 96,, we left the front alone though.

1. The lower valance is separate, it bolts right up, but bumper removal is necessary. You can reuse your existing hardware.

2. The rears fit perfectly, the fronts need a tiny spacer (3mm), for better appearance, many people opt to install 25mm spacers, to flush the 2002 wheels with the fender.

3. The skirts are also a bolt on, the door panels are not, on the OEM, they use clips to hold them to the door - many people have removed these clips from the door panels, and used double-sided tape instead, this holds up just fine.

OK guys, many thanks for your replies......

Looks like I'm going to be able to get all the parts to fit fairly easily then. Getting the 02+ rear lights, valance, skirts, wheels and brakes all from one car

I know I'm new on here and didn't really intoduce myself, sorry. Just recently got a 96 Manual Targa so not really much to show or shout about yet and although I like it you guys have inspired me to go for some updates already.....:-) Becoming a quick learning curve...

Unfortunately there's no front end update parts available from this car......

ONe last q regarding the update...are the wheel arch plastic lines necessary from the later car or will my existing ones work ok?

Cheers,

Gary
