Anyone know the average price from a Dealership vs. an independant garage for clutch replacement? I have all the parts already.
I might do it myself, but haven't been able to find time.

His quote was higher than a dealers?...and is cost your only concern?

For anyone's information, the cost of "labor" alone was about 30% to 40% higher than the dealers I contacted. I asked him and his wife several times if they were sure and I still think that they misunderstood me for some reason. But upon repeating myself clearly, they confirmed their price to me. For a few hundred +/- dollars, I wouldn't really care.

I've known Don for more than 10 years and he serviced my first NSX, so I'd prefer to give the business to him. Back then, he did all the work and nowadays he has a second string of Techs that wrench all of the cars for him. I've watched many of the cars, including some of your NSX'S being tuned up etc.. by his employees over Don's watchful eyes.

I usually work on my own cars, but I'm very backed up and I need to get my car on the dyno by the end of this week, so it's more important that I have the car back mid-week. If time weren't so critical, I wouldn't care too much, but I thought this bit of information may be of interest to the public.

Dropped my car off at Pleasanton this morning and they gave me a TSX to drive.
Also, they ran my VIN number and found any recall issues to address them and for some reason, my car is getting a free tune-up.... but I'm happy, makes me feel like I got the installation labor free.

Hmmm..wonder if this TSX can drift?
