Hi Ken,
i honestly dont know much about NSX traction control
This RaceLogic TC would give you (with a supra tt)
- almost NO slip nor wheel hop) at launch
- almost NO slip in rain
- You can floor it at the apex
- you can floor it in the parking lot in rain without spin off... or out of control
- no power loss when TC kick in!
i dont know if NSX TC is much better.. but RL TC is much more advanced than Supra TC

Hi Jason,
From what I understand the modified Supras are able to generate a lot more HP than what they can put to use effectively so the TC that you mention probably helps.
I've seen many Supras at the track that can't really put down the power in a controlled manner because of the way that Turbo Boost comes up on their cars. A week and a half ago at the Speedventures event there were a couple of really souped up Supras with lot's of goodies on them, sadly neither one of them was able to drive fast in the rain because of how sudden turbo boost came up on those cars.
The NSX on the other hand is fairly linear in regards to power delivery, you should be able to control how much and how fast the power is applied to the rear wheels.
I don't think that an aftermarket TCS system on the NSX would make that much of a difference for straight line launches given that a stock NSX is barely able to overpower the stock tires and cause too much spin in launches.
The stock TCS will save you most of the time when a condition that has excessive wheelspin or loss of traction is present, so you should be covered for most normal situations.
At the track all the fast NSX drivers always turn their TCS off, since it can be unpredictable and rob power at the wrong time, so given this would you trust an aftermarket TCS system to do the right thing in those moments?
Something to think about....
