My 1991 NSX utilizes an external power amplifier housed in the trunk pushing conventional (non-amplified) speakers. I have the original Alpine made radio installed. Recently when I turn the radio or CD on the volume is very low for the first 15 seconds then gets to normal level and works perfectly.
Can someone tell me if they think this is Alpine unit or external amplifier and/or a way to test? I don't have a way to swap out.
