yeah, use of a banned substance no big surprise.A real shocker here![]()
50 games is the new minimum for MLB.
Anyone who fails a drug test gets this type of punishment.
He will lose 8 million over 50 games, and will be back for the second half of the season. I think banishment for life for those who cheat the game.
Why not just make it legal or stop testing. They all cheat anyway (at least most of them). Does anyone really care if they are using roids? I could care less. People are paying to see these guys to superhuman things. Hit balls farther, run faster etc etc. The way they do that is drugs. Sure some people are just naturally gifted and don't need drugs, but when they see the people not as gifted hitting it farther or running faster because they are on drugs... guess what, time for the gifted peeps to get on the juice too!
Soon little leaguers will be shooting up for tee ball because "everyone's getting on the juice?" That's great advice...
This is exactly the mindset of the baseball owners, players association, and commissioner. Soon little leaguers will be shooting up for tee ball because "everyone's getting on the juice?" That's great advice...
I hate the Dodgers so on one hand I've been laughing my ass off at this.
On the other hand, I love baseball and this is yet another black eye for the game I love.
I know it won't happen because Bud Selig is such a putz but I pray that this is the push over the edge that the commissioner needs to really enforce some change. The players union in baseball has been way too strong for way too long. Force real testing with real punishment.
After all that baseball has been through, 50 games is a nice start. But he really should be banned for a year and lose any chance of ever entering the hall.
What an idiot.
Is he an idoit for taking drugs? I mean, if he took drugs so he could make 50 billion dollars playing baseball or not take drugs and never make it into the major leagues then perhaps he made the right decision.
I only think they are idiots when they lie about it or pretend it was from something else -- which he has now done -- so yes, he is an idiot.
Just admit it, come clean and move on.
I have to say these "athletes" should be tossed out of professional ball for the remainder of their lives. This is not a new problem; these fools know the risk and knowingly take that risk. If caught-no mercy. They are banned from professional sports and never permitted to be in the hall of fame.
Fertility drug ? Its just manny being marilynn !!!!!!!
