This morning I was headed up 684 (speed limit 65, usually do between 80-120) to my Saturday morning tennis game, don't know what prompted me to drive the speed limit, just cruising leisurely as I was a little early I guess. On the way up there, people were flying by me (usually I'm doing the flying) and I was just thinking how one of my associates told me that she saw me a few weeks ago on this run, and that I was probably doing over 100mph. Well, on the way home, the same (sane?) voice in my head had me doing all the posted speed limits, I hit 684 and ripped through the first 4 gears got to 70MPH, slowed down to 65 and moved to the right lane. A couple of youngish (20's I think) guys in a accord sedan went ripping past me, really giving my car the once over, a minute later the trooper in the center median was pulling him over on the right, there were 3 other state cars giving out tickets to other cars, I just smiled and rode slowly past. I do have my V1, and laser jammer, but feel that had I been doing my normal 80+ I certainly would be crying by now. I guess that when the mood strikes you not to speed, don't, I was lucky that today was that day!!!

Went home and put on another coat of wax in appreciation of my luck and my ride in a few days to NSXPO!! The leaves are turning and it should be beautiful up there!!!
