Re: Jetz Wing install

I just recently purchased a used Jetz carbon NSX-R rear wing. I noticed that the wing does not have built in bolts like the stock OEM wing.

For those that have the Jetz wing, what did you do to adhere the wing to the trunk?

I've tried searching but only found threads on wings for sale.

Re: Jetz Wing install

Does it have threaded holes? How about some picture of the wings base...

In the past with other car, i bought some threaded rod then applied some thread lock on it prior to installation.. Thread it down the holes and there u go. Put the correct nut on the threaded rod and you are set.. I like the nut that have the washer build into it, no washer require..

But if your wing are missing holes u might have to do some drill and tap.

Re: Jetz Wing install

There are already pre threaded holes. So I need to obtain some threaded rod, or get some bolts that will work. Are all the Jetz wings like this?

Re: Jetz Wing install

Not that i know of. Majority thread i read are easy install. Bolt up fine, no issue like yours. Def. Get some threaded rod.. 1in would be long enough..

Re: Jetz Wing install

Yes it is reverse of the stock spoiler, which has threaded posts coming out of it and you put nuts on the bottom of the trunk to hold it on... with the Jetz it has bolts that you screw into it. I take it you didn't buy it new, because it should've come with them.
