Hi Tavis, welcome to Prime. I see you are in Seattle, would you like to come and meet us this Saturday? Well, I already ask for a day off, so I will show up if it's not snowing. PM me for the nsx meet details if you are interested.
On the brakes, seems like the most popular choices are Stoptech Big Brake Kits (the fronts), Stoptech rotors with Colbalt / Panther pads, SS brake lines. Dali Deflector (which forces more air to cool down the rotors)... More basic upgrade would be slotted rotors with higher friction pads and better brake fluid.
Do a search, and I'm sure you will be sitting in front of the computer reading posts for whole night... (exactly what happened to me.)
When you ask for brake upgrade, you might want to factor in if you are going to take your car to the Track, and the purpose of the upgrade... (Diff brake characteristics?? Looks? Preventing Brake fade?) and also your current mod of your car (As almost all BBK would not fit in stock rims and even some aftermarket rims.)
You know, it's all relative...

And in our cases with the nsx, (basically all cars), every "upgrade" would have draw back somehow, like slotted, X drilled rotors won't be able to "turn" if it wears upevenly, unlike the stock one. The biggest drawback for nsx upgrades, is that it'll make a pretty big hole in my savings...
