Recommend a new steering wheel

Last time I asked for recommendations for an exhaust and got lots of help and got what I wanted ;)

Now please help me with finding a steering wheel for my NSX. I want something easy to install or at least a good DIY .... Thickness is important ... Don't care about airbags , also cool texture and feels when hot.

Any suggestions??

OMP makes a really nice D shaped wheel, which Ravi can make even better. Search for "OMP steering wheel Kane"
 
I have a Momo Tuner 350mm wheel and I love it. It is basically the same wheel as the NSX-R. Great feel. Looks like it belongs in the car. I get compliments on it all the time.
 
I have the Momo Jet, which I like a lot. I think you cant go wrong with any Momo really.
 
I had a Momo Tuner 350 also. Great wheel.
 
You should see DavidF's wheel (local), it looks so awesome. I would also get suede or Alcantara personally.

Overall diameter. Here is a comparison I did about 4 years ago when I had a Nissan. Oem is on the left, about 370mm... the one on the right is 330mm.

I've got an NSX-R wheel and like it but I REALLY regret selling my FG360. That wheel had an amazing tactile feel: thick, right diameter, and firm. Didn't feel like it was weak at all.
 
My car came with a Sparco D-Ring 320mm and it was way too small. It felt like a go cart. I think 350mm is the perfect size

Subjective for sure, but I totally agree here. I really like the 350mm size. It's "just right". Amazing how huge the OEM wheel feels now after driving with a 350mm MOMO for a few years!

I love my mugen 360...great hand holds and just right on thickness.....
 
Wow, a lot of FG360 supporters here! I've always thought that wheel was just for exclusivity etc and not the best for actual use! You guys make me so jealous. Wish I jumped on one years ago haha.

I got the Momo Carbon Jet (left) for my Supra and the Mugen Race III (right) for the NSX. I perfer the feel of the Momo by FAR. I actually feel ripped off for the Mugen because it actually says "Made by Momo on the back, but then I'm paying extra for the Mugen branding.

frankly im surprised by the non-love for the 320mm momo tuner. i thought it would be a hit considering how small the nsx cockpit is.
