I will be upgrading my stock exhaust in the next weeks and i want to know what you guys recommend for best sound, I want to be able to hear i deep sound when at idle and and better sound when going into gears...

Also is it neccesary to get test pipes to get a good sound, if yes then the budget has to include test pipes.... I'll be installing it myself with a friend ;)

The key is that i want something more in the loud side rather than quiet

get the pride v2 exhaust

Is the engine FI or NA ?
I've had the Dali Rice rocket and it had a BAD drone in 5th @~3200RPM's. It was so bad that after a long road trip I took it off and put my OEM system back on.
I've heard CT before on NA cars also and didn't really care for the sound of them either.

Pride V2 without any exception whatsoever!

PRIDE V2!!!!!!!!!

Contact Mark and get one before he quits supplying them.

I have it and LOVE IT!

it was such a pain for me to choose....your best bet is to find some local owners and listen for yourself in person...i feel sound clips just aren't accurate enough....if you're ever up in austin, hit me up and we can meet so you can hear my Ark DTS-2....

Do you want any more power or just sound? The pride is great if you want the f1 type sound. Also, if you are worried about drone, test pipes often fix the problem. My GTLW is supposed to have horrible drone, but with my test pipes, there is no drone at all.

The pride v2 is getting lots of thumbs up!!! I will check on it and search for some vids to hear it, thanks guys

So if i buy he pride v2 without test pipes i'll still enjoy the sound??

It depends on how loud you want the exhaust. Test pipes will definitely increase the volume. They can also give a raspier sound to the exhaust. That may be a good thing or a bad thing.

I got a RM dual DTM for best offer

While it may be uncommon, I was able to get my (used) Angus AP-X exhaust for around $1200ish, and I absolutely love everything about it, from the look to the sound. There's little drone and it's very refined sounding, but can still scream at WOT.

All depends on what you want more, sound or power. Sound = pride v2, power= obx headers and a used taitec exhaust.

Given that budget, purchase a set of OBX headers on eBay for around $300, and find a deal on a used Comptech exhaust for around $500 - use the rest for the header installation.

The factory cats are very efficient, and there is limited benefit to removing them.
