Red NSX sighting in MI!

June 7, Monday arround 12:50pm at 14 Mile road Eastbound between Ryan and Mound road. I was on the opposite lane with my Black NSX going left to fill up at the Sunoco Gas station.
I was wondering if there's a chance that he's a member here at NSXPRIME!

Not too many NSX here in Michigan. The last time I saw one on the road was four years ago. What an awesome sight!!

Hey cool! I saw the same one I think on Saturday on I-275 when we were in the blue NSX. I was thinking the same thing. HMMMMMMM........It is about the 12th NSX I have seen in my lifetime on the road in Michigan. Jagtiger we should meet up sometime and get a group photo the X's. It would probably be the biggest collection ever assembled of NSX's in Michigan.

That would be awesome! I have never seen a 04 Nsx up close (except the carshow). Maybe I'd bring my camera then. Just let me know if and when we can meet up. Hope Metro -Detroit NSX owners would be interested to join us.

Meeting up would be cool. My Dad knows no one else w/ an NSX. He is out of town now and it is crazy around this house lately since the kitchen is being remodeled, what fun! When he gets his wheel back from HRE in a couple weeks I'll let you know and maybe we could meet in Birmingham or something, that is about 1/2 way betw. us if I remember correctly. Do you know where Hunter House is? We go there all the time. It would be cool to give those rich Birmingham'ites a thrill w/ 2 cars they have never seen before.

Was the sighting a Zanardi?

When the weather has been coorperative, my wife and I have been driving the Zanardi NSX around SE Michigan area the past 3 weeks. Can't say that we spotted another NSX.

I didn't realize that there were many NSX'ers in the SE MI area. I hope to touch base some day. Let me know.

Where you on I-275 Last Saturday June 5th heading North? If so I swear it was you. My Dad and I were in the blue NSX and I saw a red NSX and I could have sworn it was a Zanardi edition b/c it had dark wheels just like yours. If so pretty cool that we have another NSX owner in the area. Even though I do not own the NSX and it is my Dads, it is a thrill everytime I drive it or ride in it. Someday JagTiger, myself, and my Dad will be meeting up and you want to join let us know and maybe we can work out a little bigger meeting.

I'm in the area too--live in Dearborn. I have a 1996 Red/Tan NSX. If there are enough of us, it might be time for a get together.

If we could plan something on a weekend - that would be great!

One benefit of owning an NSX is the chance to meet with other "great" fellow NSX owners.

My Dad and I would love to meet up w/ everybody. I have never seen more than 1 NSX @ a time.

By looking at all the locations of where people live I would say Birmingham/Royal Oak, Woodward area would be good half way place to meet. It is not too far from Farmington Hills, Dearborn, Rochester Hills, Lake Orion, Canton is a little far but not too bad. I'm up to any other suggestions. Woodward is a nice place to drive and it has some good roads in the surrouding areas also.

Even though I do not own the NSX as it is my Dads I am good @ organizing stuff so if everybody wants to do it, lets start suggesting some weekend dates and locations.

Most weekends will work for us as we both work out of the home and we tend to just work around the house on weekends and relax. Golfing is left for the weekdays.

End of June or July sounds good to me but we need some others input so lets have it. It would be really cool to make this work and definitely get some good group pics.

Hopefully. JagTiger, myself, and my Dad (the NSX owner ) are going to try to meet sometime and I am trying to get some others around here to meet up. We shall see, just keep watching this post or the midwest section in general.

A Drive Sounds Good!

A get together for a drive sounds great! I'm going to throw a date out for suggestion ... July 17th???

If someone has a suggestion for a drive and meet location that is also something to discuss. I know my wife has done some vehicle development drives out in Pickney. Ever see Road and Track on TV? That is where R&T and many OEMs host their drives. It is near Ann Arbor.

Lets get some firm dates, location, and lets see how many NSX'ers can attend.
