I see that the mod bug inside the cabin has bit you already.

Keep us posted of the end results and good luck.

It really has lol. I will keep you posted...thanks! Waiting on a few parts from SOS.

Eric

Cool, looking forward to seeing the finished product.

lol, I don't think I'll ever do anything to the interior besides fixing/replacing the OEM headunit.

Oh, and I don't remember if I told you, but I was able to pick up a fully-working OEM headunit from another Prime member during the NSXCapades trip in Orlando!
(Haven't had time to change it out yet, but maybe soon since the NSX is up on jacks still and gonna be that way for a few more days at the least :frown:)

It's cool bro lol. I think you're going to eventually give in to that modernized double din look though in the end lol

If you come to Atlanta come check it out. Mine isn't on jacks but its in the garage with the dash all torn out lol. I'm working on a few things. I ordered more SOS parts today. Few engine bay pieces as well. WHat are you doing on jacks?

Looking good so far!

You plan on doing a factory color finish?

Close to factory but not quite. I want to have that Satin black look with the areas that will be exposed. I'm doing the SOS double din CArbon fiber console. So where the where I eliminated the ashtray I'd like the satin black area right there surrounding the gauges as well as right there around the hand brake where the CF doesn't cover.

I might be coming up this weekend, if I do I'll hit you up.

It's so tempting to order some small stuff from SOS right now, lol.

I got my rotors resurfaced, but broke a caliper bolt when I was trying to take the rotors off. So I'm waiting on parts right now to get the car back on the road. I'm hoping by the end of the week, but as of now I don't think the parts have even been shipped, they're still waiting on one more part to arrive (the one that wasn't necessary, but I felt like ordering anyway, lol).
I have some other small stuff I should probably take care of while it's in the air, but I'm tempted to try swapping out the headunits this week but not sure how long it will take...

It doesnt take that long to replace the head unit depending on which route you take. If you decide to do it though and need any help whatsoever let me know. If you would like to maintain that factory look it could still be achieved with a double din by not removing the ashtray etc. I just think it looks more modern IMO.

I'm over here now painting the console. I have the satin black look on it right now. The more I look at it I'm considering glossing it lol. Come talk me out of it bro!!

Put some paint on it today.
