I have everything unbolted, transmission in 2 inches out, but it wont come out.. it feels like something in the middle of the clutch is stuck? could this be a snap ring problem or something???? Is there anything extra i should change with my new clutch??
I haven't done the nsx transmission before but in my other vehicles, whenever the transmission comes off, I look into possibly replacing a 1)rear main seal 2) slave cylinder 3) clutch assembly 4)flywheel. Then since the tranny is down, I'd check the boots on the CVs, regrease joints and reboot them.
I thought it was closer to 70 kg, as I thought 150 lbs is about right. I got mine out using a regular floor jack to support the weight, but borrowed a friend's gearbox jack (with the wide baseplate) to install. Install was harder than removal.
