Request suggestion for security

My 1991 formula red comes with a OEM alarm, only. I think Honda added an immobiliser to the later models (not sure when this was added). Has anyone tried to get the dealer to install an immobiliser to earleir models? Is it possible? What are the alternatives to having a security system on earlier models.

Is this available, with the immoboliser, in North America? Can you give me an idea what the unit cost?
