Road America - April 12-13

Two days of practice lapping America's premier road course. $320 enters one car/driver combo. Open to all. 4 groups segregated by experience and car capability) of 30 cars running 30 minute sessions, 4 sessions per group per day (weather, track, and other conditions permitting).

Rules: No passing in the turns, no wheel to wheel racing. Front passengers allowed, no special safety equipment required (helmets, seat belts, long pants required). This is the 4th year for this event, and it gets better every year.

I was going to say..... I do the Windy City BMW RA during the 1st week of May (every year since about 1985 when I was a kid watching my dad drive) and it has been FREEZING (winter coat, gloves and slick tires) almost every year with only a few exeptions...just an fyi

I've been to that May event even longer than Aaron, and while some years have been fairly cold, other years have been delightful. But that event is in May, not April, and one month makes a big difference.

Average high temperature in Plymouth:

April: 53.6 degrees F
May: 66.9 degrees F
October: 58.3 degrees F
November: 43.1 degrees F
