RS-R ExMag Single Tip Exhaust

My wife ordered a RS-R ExMag Single Tip Stainless Steel Exhaust for me for Christmas (great lady!).

I have never heard of this exhaust before. I tried doing a serach but kept getting "no matches."

Has anyone ever heard of this exhaust?

I want a F1 sound if possible.

Any info would be greatly appreciated before I install. I have an option of returning it if necessary.

I have the RS-R quad tip but have no knowledge of the "Exmag" you speak of. It is not near F1 sound but I am running prospeed cats and it does sound decent. Without cats may be a different sound though. Did she buy this new? I had no idea you could still by RS-R.

I've never known/heard of an RS-R exhaust sounding anything close to F1, at least not for the NSX. I think you'll end up returning it in favor for another exhaust.

Never noticed RS-R making anything but a quad-tip, but dali's website does show it. Its not cheap either so your wife must love you!

I had an RS-R Exmag with the original dark coating (discontinued) on my S13 240SX. I would say on the S13, it was definitely deeper in tone, nothing loud. Based off the S13 results, I would say that it would give some deepness to it, and will not be loud unless u unleash the beast. Back then, the Exmag's were the exhaust to get, which had performance gains as well as "OEM" look.
