Rush was on colbert Report tonight. Any one happen to see the show?

1st US TV appearance in 33 years!

They were F*CKIN AWSOME as always.

Some of the questions colbert asked them were hilarious.

" Youve been touring for over 30 years, do you ever get tired of being so awsome and kicking so much ass"

Lame that they interupted Neils Solo and cut them off at the end tho

Sweet.....I have it on DVR, but haven't seen it yet. I'm gonna have to check it out soon! I LOVE Colbert and never miss an episode. I can only imagine how good it would be having Rush on there.

I hope CC posts the whole song on their site. I gotta agree -- 33 years, but they're still awesome and kicking ass. Got all their records, many twice, some three times.

I was lucky to catch it too. Some of the interview questions were funny and Niel Pert's answers were equally quick of wit. John Stewart's stuff sounds so whiney any more that I can't take much of it. But Corbert has a funny style that pokes fun of the "establishment" and I can enjoy.

RUSH were good sports to play along, allowing the interuption during their performance. Obviously a trio of nice guys just out having fun.

I too assumed he meant Limbaugh. I mean, Rush the band isn't ever on anything and given the nature of Colbert's usual topics, I assumed Limbaugh.

I'll have to go watch this now. PS, saw rush last Monday, awesome as usual and the rotisserie was pretty funny. Loved the south park clip . My friend caught Geddy's chicken shirt (and last I heard was looking to trade it for some other Rush memorabilia).
