We are on for Sacramento Raceway for some fun 1/4 mile test and tuning runs on Saturday 11/18, depending on the weather.
The itinerary is to leave the Bay Area at 8:30am, no later than 9am, so we can drive to Sacramento. Takes about 1.5 hours to get there driving around 70mph
We can have brunch at IHOP around 10-10:30 and that gives us about an hour to eat.
We should try and get to Sacramento Raceway by 11:30 so we can check in and get everything organized. The first runs start at 12 noon and lasts till 4pm. Participants are $50 and Spectators are $10. Must have a helmet if your car is faster than 14 seconds
We should find locations right off the freeway to meet with others. The route that we are taking is Highway 80 then to Highway 50 and the exit is Bradshaw.
Our first place to meet is Emeryville in front of Circuit City parking lot as that is right off the freeway and centralized for everyone in the Bay Area. The next stop could be in Vacaville at the Outlets. From there, we head straight to IHOP off Bradshaw.
