Saturday Morning-May 3rd-Raleigh Area Owners

The monthly meet of the Triangle Italian Motorsports Club takes place on Saturday morning, May 3rd - 9am at Camille's Restaurant in the Brier Creek Mall - near the intersection of Hwy 70 and I-540.

A few NSX owners attended this meet in March, and saw a great turnout of very beautiful and varied enthusiast cars. Along with this club, the Raleigh area Porsche Club meets at this location every Saturday morning. As you can imagine, this draws quite a crowd.

Let's see how many NSX's we can assemble for this event.

Hey John,

I finally got my car back on the road (only thing left at this point is paint) and it looks like I should be able to make it and finally meet everyone!

I have a commitment later that afternoon so I'll have to leave by noon or so, but it will be nice to fianlly meet all the NC NSXers. Count me in for now. If anything changes I will let you know.

Tom, the Porsche Club meets early for breakfast, but the Triangle Italian Motosports group meets at 9am. At the March meeting I arrived just after 9am and there were quite a few cars already there, but many more arrived between 9 and 10am. By noon, most were gone.

I will plan to get up there about 8:30am and will try and hold a row of spots for other NSX's.

Well, it appears that Saturday will be a bright sunny day in the mid 80's with no rain expected until late Saturday night. Hoping that we will have a good showing for this event.

i got there late- around 10:30-11am and everyone was gone but Darrin ...who turned around and came back. So we hung out for a while. Saw a nice GT40 as I came in and several P-cars and some nice bikes. Anyone got photos?

I must have just missed you by minutes. I left shortly after the Ford GT's, one red, one black and one silver. I have some photos, but haven't yet figured out how to place/attach them to a thread. Can you advise???

Hey guys,

It was great meeting eveyone that was there this past weekend.

4 NSX's .... then I passed Howard (DCNSX) who arrived about 10 minutes after eveyone left so I turned around and we chatted for a while. Guys I had a great time and look forward to meeting up in the near future.

I will not be able to meet next month (June) as my car will be in for paint. It will be don by the middle of June so expect to see me in July.

I was so cought up in meeting eveyone I did not even take a picture. Sorry guys.

Will this be going down July 5th? 1st Saturday?

Hey Tom,
Yes, this will be happening on Saturday, July 5th. Same spot, Camille's at Brier Creek, intersection of Hwy 70 and I-540. They start about 9am. From all indications they are expecting a big turnout from the Triangle Italian owners. If it's dry I will be there.
I am going to post a separate, new thread with July 5th date.
