Figured we'd make one thread and just keep updating it instead of making new ones every week.

Here are some pictures from this past weekend (090107):

The prior week we actually had 6-7 NSXes join us :) Thanks to Val and Frank as well as the rest of the NSX Prime folks for showing up!

Heya Folks :)

I'm glad I finally got a working account on here :) This is Ty, I'm glad you all came out to play on Saturday. Thank you!

Here are some pictures from other NOTFWD.com members of your beautiful cars :)

Next time I advise you to stick around and drive a little later, the route we were on is much more entertaining when our staff aren't playing referees and everyone is still "sorting" themselves out. You guys are always welcome to come on out, so long as you don't mind a 100% NSX mix, you will find a 100% NOTFWD mix though, so our theme is already based upon "no grocery getters playing at sportscar" :)

Here's an idea of what it's like at the proper pace (note the video has been edited down to only about 5mins :):

If you don't have one already, bring an FRS (e.g. Motorola Talkabout) radio that can do privacy/security channels. You'll have a much better time during the cruise.

Here's more information on the radios...

http://www.gmrsweb.com/codetable.html <- CTCSS/Privacy/Security code translation table

Whatever brand you get, make sure it's got the CTCSS/Privacy/Security codes so you can talk with us.... so far the three interoperable brands appear to be Cobra, Midland, and Motorola. (Their privacy/CTCSS codes match).

Cheaper FRS radios only have channels 1-14. FRS radios with the CTCSS/Privacy/Security sub-channels have channels 1-14 with subchannels 1-38 in each main channel, ala 1^1-1^38 - 14^1-14^38.

You can still listen into conversations on equipment that doesn't support subchannels, but you can't speak/broadcast.

I left you a voicemail Wednesday evening and I havent heard back from you. Let me know if there will be anyone heading there from downtown Chicago near Lincoln Park. Thanks

-Andy

Sorry I'm t3h suck at Voicemail, I just got it, and no. Nothing on weekdays sorry.

If you need a ride from Lincoln Park, ask around @ NOTFWD, although I don't think anyone is coming from that area.

You'll have a much better time if you rent a car while you're here if you want to go to car stuff.

Always a pleasure Ty. Thanks again.

Bummer that they shut down the "roof deck." Maybe after it cools down a little we can get back up there.

90 was f'ed up on the way back. Val and I pulled off and took back roads home. We ended up catching the guys in the green Miata.
