well, the ONLY advantage of living in arizona is living in the same state of Science of Speed. I went to go see Chris to see what kind of goodies they have there, and i mention to him that I needed the speaker mounts that i previously seen on the website. Chris told me to come back thursday and pick them up because they wouldnt be finished until thursday. I visit Chris today expecting the normal mdf mounts that I saw on the website.....

when he brings them from the back, i see that they are made from the high density plastic... all I have to say is wow....Chris and I sat down and when he was printing the invoice up I said that I was impressed and he then told me that he is only interested in making high quality parts and that he carried it over to the mounts as well.. i must say, the holes are perfect, the screw holes are pre-drilled, and its a shame that these mounts have to be covered by the door panel..

Kudos to Science of Speed on the high quality mounts. great job.

I mounted the speakers and crossovers on the science of speed mount and they look and fit amazing!! I cant wait to wire these puppies up and see how they sound..

I was expecting to pay more for these new mounts because they were made from the high density plastic, but he is still selling them for 59.99!!!!

total with tax is 64.02 and any stereo place in town (which I wouldnt trust with an nsx) would charge at least 100 dollars for...

High quality piece for a low price..

thanks to Chris for being Chris..lol and selling amazing parts at unbeatable prices.

$60? That's crazy cheap considering the MDF ones are more now I believe. Damn wish I wasn't broke.

no shit!! you cant be that broke dude!! cmon!! if you break it down, if you spend 2 dollars less every day for a month, there you go... so, you can only buy 1 44ounce diet dr.pepper instead of 2 a day.lol. not that hard.. definitely worth the money.for sure.

LoL, I know. I just hating tearing my door panels apart. For some reason my door panels will NOT come off the doors at the top (where it touches the window) for some reason. I bought my car with high end JL mids/highs already installed but they were zip tied into the bottom half of the oem bose housing. So my acoustics suck. I'm just being cheap at the moment.

hi Koolaid --

To remove the door panel, you need to remove the door handle assembly, then the door seal, then the screws on the lower tabs. To actually remove the door panel (it's a bit of a trick) start by standing behind the door with it open. For the driver's door, Grasp the rear of the panel with your left hand and the bottom of the panel with your right hand. Pull up and out with both hands to unhook the panel from the top rail it secures to. It should separate easy from the door once it breaks free. Rememeber to separate all the electrical plugs onces this is done. Once you do it, removal on the next one will be a snap. When the panel is replaced, remember to not over torque the tabs to the door as the plastic is often brittle with age. Hope that helps.

Cheers,
-- Chris
