Interesting. Sounds like it's a new communications survelliance tech that also allows for target location. I think Batman used it in the latest film.

Definitely interesting but I'm sort of dismayed that Woodward let the cat out of the bag. Unless it's deliberate disinformation, why alert the enemy?

Always wondered about stuff like this, freedom of the press is one thing, but if its at the cost of revealing info to the enemy? Which is why I am not a big fan of those reporters that tag along with soldiers.

I agree, any discussion of any such technology, real or not will not help our troops. I hope we have some great secret weapon or tactic and it only gets better.

My guess is that it's locating and tracking technology.
