Sept 15th Pebble Beach Run and Luncheon

I'm new to this forum and looking to aquire a 91-97 NSX. I'm interested to talking with some NSX owners in person.

Also, I just wanted to send an invite to the NSX group to our Pebble Beach Run/Luncheon on Sept 15th. I wanted to see if anyone was interested? This is only a limited number of cars and people due to space at Poppy Hills/ Pebble Beach. Right now we have over 50 cars signed up. We don't want to run out of food this year, so please RSVP asap.

We will meet in Salinas " My Nissan" and cruise through the mountains and valley of Carmel and end up on Hwy 1 into Pebble Beach. We have covered the $9.00 entrance fee to get into the 17 mile drive. This is one of the most beautiful and scenic rides you'll ever go on. Don't miss it.

We will also have a nice Pebble Beach style buffet (Price will be updated soon). Also limited reserved parking spaces.

Entrance into Pebble Beach ($9 value) + Buffet Lunch(everything listed above)
including all taxes and tips = Net cost $25.00 per person.

This is a great deal compared to the normal cost for this style buffet at Pebble Beach. I think everyone will enjoy this. We will be collecting the $25.00 from each person at "MY NISSAN" in Salinas. Ca. on Sept. 15th.

I hope you and other NSX can make it to the meet. Everyone in our group is very friendly and come from as far as Bakersfield/Sacramento. We usually get 1-2 NSX that are on our Z forum. This is the first time posting it on this NSX forum. Just want to see who's interested in your group.

Last year we had the luncheon at "Stix" Spanish Bay, but they could not handle that many people again. So this year is at Poppy Hills course. Outside deck patio.

Here it is. Everything is already pretty set location & time.

Itinerary
10:30AM: Meet at: "MY NISSAN" 222 Auto Center Circle Salinas, CA 93907

11:30PM: Depart for First Run (1 1/2 hrs approx.)

1:00PM: #10 Bird Rock View/Pictures

1:45PM: Poppy Hill Restaurant, Pebble Beach

3:00PM: Possible Second Run for the folks that may want one. To be
determined at lunch and will be made accordingly. (Multiple choices to pick from)
Notes:
A: Entrance to Pebble Beach and the 17 Mile Drive is $9.00. But...it will be no cost
for the Z Group or whoever joins us on our group.

B: Lunch at "Poppy Hill” on Pebble Beach has been reserved. Has
beautiful view of the golf course. Planned “Buffet” with price to be announced shortly. Will be same or lower than last year. Please carry some cash with you. Will collect for meal at “MY NISSAN” Salinas, when registering for the raffle(s) sponsored by ‘ZONC”. When signing in, will receive 1 free Raffle Ticket. May purchase additional at time of sign in also for more chance to win.

C: If you have two way radios’, bring them, we'll be using channel 9.

Please make notation for lunch at “Poppy Hill” next to your name. We need to give count to restaurant ahead of time, as we are reserving a private area. “Poppy Hill" is located on Pebble Beach.

First of all Congrats on the other White NSX or NSX-R. It should not be a problem just meeting us at Poppy Hills. However, we are going to stop off at Bird Rock on 17 mile drive for photo's if you care to go. I would definitely be interested in seeing your car or car(s). The group is looking forward to seeing a few NSX.

I live in the Toro Park area and I have a Spa Yellow 97 with a CT SC. I also have a 73 240. I have 2 other friends who have nsx's. Believe it or not, there are quite a few in the Monterey/Salinas area. Wouldn't mind going.

I live in Salinas in Creekbridge by the Safeway Shopping Center. Do you guys know who owns a Yellow 97 NSX. I saw one about a month a go at Costco parking lot. It looked really nice.

So far we have 31 cars attending from 300zx / 350z / 240z / G35/ Supercharged NSX (from the bay).

This meet is a very organized and mature. The good thing is that everyone is nice to each other no matter what you own. There just a bunch of car fans. Spread the word out.

Mostly 350z / G35 / 300xz Twin Turbo. There will be a few NSX from the bay area. Since some of you guys live in the county, why not just join us. My partner and I are hosting this event. Everyone in our group is very mature and drives safely.

Yes that is the stock color (Spa Yellow) for 97. The first year that color was offered.

What is the deadline to RSVP? I'm driving from the central valley so I'll win the nasty bug covered car award since the valley is nothing but ag land.

I just want to plan more to do that day. I've done the drive from Monterey to Cambria on the 1. It was fun, but a serious pain in the @ss with all the sightseers don't look in their rear view mirror. So if I go, it'll be a last minute deal. Just wanna have a full, fullfilling day in addition to a great lunch.

Yes, we still are going to meet at Bird rock prior to lunch about 1230pm. I would definitely like to see you and see your car.

A few of us will probably do a pre-run 1 week prior to the event.

Bump!

It only 1 week away. Hopefully I could get some NSX to join me in this meet. I'll be a new NSX owner as of Friday. I'll be driving back Friday A.M.

Red 93 NSX w/ 76k miles / immaculate condition. Come check it out if you have time this Saturday 9/15/07. There will be about 64 Cars attending and 120 people. I'm driving my Twin Turbo Z that will be sold at of Saturday, and my friend will drive my NSX.

That's perfect time. Most of us may not get there until about 1-130pm at Pebble Beach at site #10 on the map "Bird Rock". After that we will be heading to Poppy Hills for lunch. You're welcome to join us. So if you arrive later than 200pm, you'll find us at the Poppy Hills parking lot. We'll be there until 4:00pm.
