I like the look of both sets. Which will be the easier set for me to install? Any experiences with install and pictures always help!

Thanks...

I think the WW are a more classic look and really look nice on the NSX as if it was meant to be like that.

I think the Stacy skirts look more aggressive and are good if your going for that sporty/aggressive look.

My WW kit fit nicely without modification required but I did reinforce the skirts to eliminate any sagging.

I've had both. With the real Polyurethane Wings West it will require lots of reshaping and you'll need reinforcements to prevent sagging. Otherwise its a straight forward install like any other side skirt. The Stacy's will be easier to install if you buy one of the new sets made by Downforce with the the mounting tabs. Some reshaping will be needed to fit well and you'll have to install the door inserts.

I had one of the original Stacy's skits with not so good fitment and no mounting tabs. I ended up giving up for now and went with OEM 02+ skirts.

To be honest, if going with the Wings West, I'd consider getting the ebay Duraflex Wings West copy. Fiberglass is easier to reshape and work with than Polyurethane and you wont have to worry about the sagging issue. Plus it is a lot cheaper.

WW is dated...........like flip up headlights

With the ww, you don't need the door piece?

that's correct, you will not need the door piece. it flows with the body shape so that it is even with the door. With stacy's or any 02+ fitment side skirt, you will need the door piece to have the door even with the side skirt. There are people out there who aren't using the door piece with the 02+ fitment skirts, so depending on your tastes, you really don't need the door piece.

question chrisK,

i am not an expert when it comes to fibreglass work in any way so please excuse this newbie question.

how viable/easy/difficult is it for a body shop to cut a hole (ie. a vent) into fibreglass?

thanks in advance.

I'm not a body/repair/paint expert either, but my opinion is cutting a hole in fiber glass is easy. Making it look like a nice vent and good is much harder and more like art. You'll need someone that knows what he is doing and has done it before. Fiberglass itself is easy to work with. If you mess up you can just repair it with more fiberglass. I think there was a member here on Prime that used to offer vent cutting service in the OEM side skirts so see if you can find him and contact him.

Does anybody have experience with the fitment of the Duraflex side panels? I've heard that fitting the WW skirts can be a beach. Can anyone confirm or deny that? Any idea on a rough cost to have a bodyshop fit any of these skirts?

i have a question.

how is the fitment of the stacy ss? does it use the exact installation points as the 02 oem side skirts?
does the skirts use a flex resin?
