Sidelights

I can't find anything in FAQ or search on this one.

How can the sidelights be removed? While installing my HIDs I had to removed the whole light unit and can get to the sidelights to change the bulb. Surely this isn't the only way!? Do then lens just prise off from the front? I'm afraid I might damage them...

On the earlier cars, you just carefully pry them out with a small flat screwdriver. The manual demonstrates the technique. I presume, but am noy certain, that it would be the same for later years.

What do you consider a sidelight?

The little ones on the fender pry out.

The larger ones embedded in the front bumper come out with a single phillips screw.

there are several posts on each one.
