I need to download some test tones to tune my amp, but all of the tones I find are in MP3 format. I know I can convert them, but I'm at work for a long time today and can't download any converting programs (work computers). I can do it tomorrow at home, but would rather do it now. Does anybody know where I can download any? Thanks guys.

Bollocks, got them at work, channel dividers as well..... Can do it tommorrow, now its time for me to drink beer and sleep...

If you can open RAR files at work, I think www.phonic.com still has .wav sine test tones in their support/download section under the PAA2/PAA3 section.

Thanks! I found it here but I don't have a program to download rar files.

Alrighty then. I just did this. When I opened the downloaded file, it started to play, but at the same time also changed my signature for IM, to "Pink Noise", the name of the file.:confused::confused:

Thanks. I know what Pink Noise is, but why did it change my signature on IM as soon as it started to play? I think I downloaded some "extra" stuff.

What IM program and are you using?

It has nothing to do with the file you downloaded specifically. It's a "feature" of your IM program or media player. Several media players / IM clients / plug-ins have option to set IM status to the song / file name that currently being played...
